Service2Civilian

FAQ

Answers to common questions about career translation, business copy, privacy, AI output, payments, and support.

Is Service2Civilian affiliated with VA, DoD, SBA, or the U.S. government?

No. Service2Civilian is an independent software product. It is not affiliated with VA, DoD, SBA, or any government agency.

Does this replace a professional resume writer or career counselor?

No. It provides AI-assisted drafting and structured translation support. You should review, edit, and verify every output before using it in a job application or interview.

What information should I avoid submitting?

Do not submit Social Security numbers, DD214 files, VA claim numbers, disability ratings, medical information, classified information, payment card details, or government identification documents.

How does O*NET help?

O*NET military crosswalk data helps connect military occupation codes to civilian occupation language. Service2Civilian uses it as grounding context, not as a final career decision.

Can I paste a job description?

Yes. Job descriptions help tailor resume bullets, LinkedIn copy, interview starters, keywords, and business materials toward a specific target.

How does pricing work?

Free accounts include 3 generations. The 7-day sprint includes 30 generations. Monthly subscriptions include 100 generations per month unless checkout states otherwise.

How do refunds work?

One-time purchases may be reviewed within 7 days if unused, duplicated, or not delivered because of a technical issue. Subscription cancellation stops future renewals and does not automatically create a prorated refund for the current period. Approved refunds may take 5-10 days to appear on the customer's card or payment account statement.

Can the business tool help veteran-owned local services?

Yes. It can draft website hero copy, flyers, Facebook posts, Google Ads, cold outreach, review requests, and trust-building language for local service businesses.
